NCC Education will once again be attending the Association of Colleges (AOC) Annual Conference. Building on the success of last year’s event, which attracted over 1900 attendees, the conference will consist of keynote speeches and interactive breakout sessions, providing opportunities for delegates to engage with relevant topics and policy across IT and Business education.
This year’s event focusses on ‘Creating Futures Together’ and will take place in Birmingham’s International Convention Centre (ICC) from 18 November to 20 November. The event boasts keynote speeches from the Secretary of State for Business Innovation and Skills, Rt Hon Dr Vince Cable and the Shadow Secretary for Education, Tristram Hunt, amongst many other key influencers in business, technology and educational policy. The conference will reinforce the benefits of working together and promote increased collaboration across the industry.
A large number of exhibitors are expected following last year’s total of 99 (the largest AOC Annual Conference so far) including representatives from NCC Education’s Sales and Marketing teams. Information on NCC Education’s International Foundation Year (IFY), Pre-Master’s options and Business, IT and Computing qualifications will be provided to delegates alongside opportunities to discuss progression routes and new guaranteed entry options with Birmingham City University and University Centre Croydon.
Chris Wall outlines the significance of the event, “Now in its 19th year the AOC Annual conference is a key calendar event for NCC Education, allowing us to meet with our existing college partners as well as expanding our network further. With a variety of exhibitors, this fast paced event offers promising networking opportunities as well as valuable breakout sessions and debates”.
The conference provides NCC Education with an unrivalled opportunity to meet with all of our existing FE College partners as well as the recent additions to our expanding network including Sussex Coast College Hastings.
