DIGI - Shaping the future of computing

Foundation

We have developed two qualifications to specifically enhance levels of English and help students prepare for further study – the English Language Framework and the Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (RQF) previously called International Foundation Year (IFY).

We also offer two Diplomas in Business and Computing at foundation level which will allow progression onto our Higher Level Diplomas and undergraduate degree pathway.

Diploma - RQF Level 4

Successful completion leads to access to undergraduate study in year 2.

If you want to complete year 1 of an International Degree pathway or seek employment with an internationally recognised qualification and enhanced skills, then these qualifications are for you!

Diploma - RQF Level 5

Successful completion leads to access to undergraduate study in the final year.

If you have completed the Level 4 Diploma in Business and wish to continue with year 2 of the International degree journey, or you wish to pursue a position in the corporate world, then these qualifications are for you.

Degree

NCC Education degrees are awarded by respected UK universities with whom NCC Education partner.

Students are eligible to apply for direct entry into our undergraduate degree Top-Up (final year) programmes following the successful completion of the NCC Education Level 5 Diplomas in Business or Computing.

RQF – Level 2

The NCC Education Level 2 Award in Computing is suitable for candidates at Key Stage 4 of the English national curriculum (ages 14–16) as well as older (including adult) learners.

English Language Framework (ELF)
Foundation

The English Language Framework (ELF) is a course aimed at helping students to improve their language skills.

Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (IFD)

RQF – Level 3

The Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (RQF) (L3IFDHES) formally called the International Foundation Year (IFY) is a one year pre-university qualification with 120 credits, including a significant amount of English language teaching and assessment. The qualification is designed to provide students with an entry route to UK and International university qualifications or for progression onto the NCC Education Level 4 Diplomas in Computing, Business and Business IT.

Level 3 Diploma in Business (L3DB)

The Level 3 Diploma in Business (RQF) (L3DB) is a 60 credit qualification that aims to prepare students for entry onto the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business (RQF) (L4DB) and Level 4 Diploma in Business IT (RQF) (L4DBIT).

 

Level 3 Diploma in Computing (L3DC)

RQF – Level 3

The Level 3 Diploma in Computing (RQF) (L3DC) is a 60 credit qualification that aims to prepare students for entry onto the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing (RQF) (L4DC) or Level 4 Diploma in Business IT (RQF) (L4DBIT).

 

Level 4 Diploma in Business Information Technology (L4DBIT)
Diploma - RQF Level 4

The Level 4 Diploma in Business Information Technology (RQF) (L4DBIT) makes up the first year of the NCC Education degree journey. The qualification is equivalent to the first year of an IT degree qualification in the UK university system.

 

Level 4 Diploma in Business (L4DB)
Diploma - RQF Level 4

The Level 4 Diploma in Business (RQF) (L4DB) makes up the first year of the NCC Education Business Degree journey. The qualification is equivalent to the first year of a business degree qualification in the UK university system.

 

Level 4 Diploma in Computing (L4DC)
Diploma - RQF Level 4

Level 4 Diploma in Computing (RQF) (L4DC) makes up the first year of the NCC Education degree journey. The qualification is equivalent to the first year of an IT degree qualification in the UK university system.

 

Level 5 Diploma in Business Information Technology (L5DBIT)
Diploma - RQF Level 5

The Level 5 Diploma in Business Information Technology (RQF) (L5DBIT) makes up the second year of the NCC Education degree journey and builds upon the knowledge gained during the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business Information Technology. Students will be exposed to more advanced topics in a range of areas including information systems analysis, database development and the principles of business operations.

 

Level 5 Diploma in Business (L5DB)
Diploma - RQF Level 5

The Level 5 Diploma in Business (RQF) (L5DB) makes up the second year of the NCC Education degree journey and builds upon the knowledge gained during the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business(RQF)(L4DB). Exposing students to greater detail and more advanced topics in a range of areas including economics, marketing, finance and management.

 

Level 5 Diploma in Computing (L5DC)
Diploma - RQF Level 5

The Level 5 Diploma in Computing (RQF) (L5DC) makes up the second year of the NCC Education degree journey and builds upon the knowledge gained during the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing(RQF) (L4DC) . Exposing students to greater detail and more advanced topics in a range of areas including database development, information systems analysis, and network security and cryptography.

 

BA (Hons) Business Administration

Delivered online by NCC Education. Validated and awarded by the University of Worcester

The BA (Hons) Business Administration is delivered online by NCC Education, assessed at our Accredited Partner Centres and validated and awarded by the University of Worcester. It has been designed to prepare students for careers or postgraduate study in the areas of management, accounting, marketing and finance.

BSc (Hons) Business Information Technology

The BSc (Hons) Business Information Technology, delivered by NCC Education Accredited Partner Centres and awarded by the University of Greenwich, has been designed to prepare students for employment in the IT sector.

The BSc (Hons) Business Computing and Information Systems, delivered online by NCC Education, assessed at our Accredited Partner Centres and validated and awarded by the University of Central Lancashire, has been designed to prepare students for employment in the IT sector.

Level 7 Diploma in Business Management (L7DBM)
Master's - RQF Level 7

The Level 7 Diploma in Business Management (RQF) (L7DBM) qualification is designed for students who are a graduate or experienced manager and wishes to further develop a career in management.

Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Business IT (L7DSBIT)
Master's - RQF Level 7

The Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Business IT (RQF) (L7DSBIT) qualification is designed for students who are an IT and computing graduate or IT practitioner who wishes to further develop a career.
