Bringing Digital Literacy to Life Event 21 February 2014

NCC Education is proudly hosting the ‘Bringing Digital Literacy to Life’ event in Manchester’s Museum of Science and Industry. Scheduled to take place on 20 March 2014 from 10:00 until 12:30 the event promises to be a great opportunity for educators to engage on all the talking points of the new Computing Curriculum and also to discover NCC Education’s latest digital products.

An informative presentation on ‘Understanding the new Computing Curriculum’ will provide attendees with an overview of the important features of digital literacy and its new role in education. Overcoming obstacles in implementing the new curriculum and what can be expected from a teaching perspective are also areas that will be addressed.

This event has also been identified as the perfect opportunity to share NCC Education’s latest products. Drawing on 37 years of specialist experience, NCC Education has created a new suite of Digital Literacy qualifications, the Digi-Qualifications. These three qualifications cover Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 of the Computing Curriculum and will be exhibited to attendees during the event.

NCC Education representatives will be on hand to answer questions on the new curriculum features and all aspects of the Digi-Qualifications. A dedicated Question and Answer session has been included to ensure that all attendees will leave the event in possession of all the necessary information to embrace the upcoming curriculum changes.
