Education ICT 2014 Conference 4 June 2014

NCC Education is proud to announce its sponsorship of the upcoming Education ICT 2014 conference on June 10.

Returning for its second year the Education ICT event at London’s QEII Conference Centre is set to bring together key members from education and the private sector to consider the key themes in ICT education provision.

Enabling schools to remain at the forefront of educational practice and up-to-date with technological advances in the sector, delegates will be introduced to innovative changes to the curriculum, teaching and resources.

12 key note speakers from across the education and private sector will deliver speeches and case studies encompassing the latest key themes surrounding digital technology in schools including: Making School ICT Investment Count, Nurturing Digital Skills through the New National Curriculum, Upgrading ICT Infrastructure to Make Learning Environments Fit for the Future, Supported Learning for Children with SEN Using Technology and Safeguarding Devices and Prioritising E-Safety.

The speakers consist of high level government advisors, educational leaders and private sector company directors, including author and Government Advisor on Computing Curriculum Reform, Ian Livingstone CBE, Head of Schools ICT Procurement at the Department for Education, Peter Hughes, and David Wright, Director of UK Safer Internet Centre.

The 350 delegates will also be invited to engage in two seminar sessions with a wide-ranging brief covering aspects from e-Safety to implementing technology in the classroom. Looking to capitalise on the success of last year’s event organisers are describing the Education ICT 2014 conference as “this years’ key forum” to discuss all matters relating to ICT equipment and infrastructure provision, pupil attainment and the changing face of the curriculum for the 21st Century.

Visit the NCC Education Team at Stand 13 for information on delivering qualifications which map to the new Computing Curriculum.
