NCC Education will be attending The Future of Computing in the Curriculum event being held at No. 4 Hamilton Place, London on Thursday 14 November.
Delegates from across the education and technology sectors, along with key policy makers will be able to study and discuss the new computing curriculum put forward by the government, offering the opportunity to share best practice case studies and strategies in order to adequately prepare and implement these proposed curricular changes.
Amongst the attendees will be local authorities, central government departments and bodies, schools, academia, private and voluntary sectors, including head teachers and principals, ICT teachers, ICT providers, directors of education, children and youth services, awarding bodies, examination officers, school improvement advisors, and education consultants.
Through this key forum we are delighted to be in a position to introduce our exciting new suite of computer qualifications launching in 2014. Managing Director Dawn Postans, Regional Manager Steve Smith and Product Manager Martin Buck will be in attendance and are looking forward to sharing details of our new qualifications with delegates and exchanging ideas and plans for best implementing the new computing curriculum in 2014.
The timing of the event comes at a stage of relative reform in educational policy, as Steve Smith outlines “It’s a tremendously exciting but also an immensely challenging time in many education sectors at the moment, not least in Primary and Secondary education with the new national curriculum firmly on the horizon”.
Highlighting the prospects of a successful showing at the event, Steve Smith continues, “I am looking forward to attending this event, meeting key stakeholders and sharing some of the new qualifications which we have been working on here at NCC Education, to support schools and other providers in meeting the requirements of the new curriculum”.
This event is a perfect opportunity for others to learn about NCC Education’s new exciting suite of computing qualifications. We have used our wealth of experience in providing ICT qualifications to develop these innovative and highly relevant computing qualifications for 2014 and look forward to sharing and discussing them before rolling them out next year.
