Graduates at KMD Computer Training Centre Celebrate Exceptional Academic Performance 12 March 2012

MORE than 200 students recently graduated at Myanmar’s KMD Computer Training Centre, a longstanding NCC Education Accredited Partner Centre for more than 18 years.

Students were honoured at the centre’s prestigious graduation ceremony on the 15th February 2012. The NCC Education students were congratulated for completing their studies in front of a proud crowd including family, friends and members of the NCC Education team. Graduates marked the completion of their International Diploma in Computer Studies (IDCS), International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies (IADCS) and the University of Greenwich top-up degree programme BSc (Hons) Business Information Technology, reflecting NCC Education’s full IT degree pathway.

Two exceptional students, Nay Win Myint and Myo Min Zaw, were also presented with the NCC Education Global High Achiever award for their hard work and dedication, alongside students who received First Class Honours for the BSc (Hons) Business Information Technology programme and almost 40 other graduates were also awarded the Roll of Honour prize.

“All the students, parents and staff greatly enjoyed the graduation ceremony,” said Myo Tun, Senior Training Manager, KMD Computer Training Centre. “We really appreciated NCC Education’s support on the day and we welcomed special guests Regional Director, Haridas Ramasamy and Nazlin Karim, Academic Support Manager at NCC Education.”

NCC Education Regional Director, Haridas Ramasamy, attended the graduation, along with two representatives from the British Council, Alan Smart, Director of British Council and also Wendy Tin Win Kyi, Exams Manager. Haridas Ramasamy was honoured to present the students with their awards and congratulate them on all their hard work.

“With the knowledge you received from NCC Education, you must be proud of your achievements, because you will have nothing but success in your life,” said Haridas Ramasamy. “Myanmar is embarking on an exciting period, with the acceptance of foreign investment, which will lead to positive developments. We have enjoyed a strong partnership with KMD Computer Training Centre for almost 20 years and we are looking forward to continuing to produce high-quality graduates, which will be highly-sought after within the IT industry. The skills and the knowledge you have received will prove extremely valuable throughout your professional lives.”
