Newly accredited Human Resources University, based in Cambodia, has set a precedent after more than a hundred prospective students attended a recent seminar.
NCC Education was delighted to welcome the centre on board on the 8th February 2011 and they have already shown great promise in such a short period of time.
The Human Resources University, which was first established in 1998, prides itself on providing comprehensive education that is both nationally and internationally recognised. Students can now enrol on the International Foundation Year (IFY) programme, which is an intensive, one year programme providing students with the essential preparation and training for university-level studies.
Nazlin Abdul Karim, NCC Education’s Academic Support Manager, attended the seminar, which was held on the 25thNovember 2010, in order to create awareness about NCC Education and the IFY programme. Attendees enjoyed speeches by centre staff, including Dr. Gabriel Ken Gaddafi, who explained the importance of students improving their English Language skills and obtaining an International qualification which will increase their employability.
Nazlin’s presence allowed the enthusiastic students to ask many questions about the IFY programme and NCC Education and they were also keen to know what the course can bring to them in terms of employment in their future.
“The seminar was met with great enthusiasm with impressive feedback from the students,” said Dr. Gaddafi, Chief of International Relations Office the Human Resources University. “This seminar has helped greatly with our recruitment activities and we are now looking forward to our first intake soon.”
