NCC Education is delighted to announce the first NCC Education partner centre in Russia – the Russian State Social University (RSSU). RSSU will be delivering the Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) in Moscow from September 2016.
Students studying on the programme could choose elective modules in either Business, Computing or Engineering. Upon successful completion of the qualification, students could then progress on to one of NCC Education’s network of 44 University partners in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia or the United States of America; with the latest addition being the University of Aston in Birmingham.
Established in 1991, RSSU has a mandate to conduct research and teaching activities of the former Higher School of the Communist Party. Initially, research and teaching focused on the Social and Political Sciences. Gradually, University activities extended into project work on social policy for State Institutions, as well as the education and support of acting administrators. It has become the leading institution for developing and drafting social reforms in Russia. It is the biggest provider of social education in Russia and the former Soviet Union.
Today, RSSU is a modern university with 12 faculties and more than 20 campuses in the territory of the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and with the representative office in Cuba, at the University of Guantanamo.
Mr Andrew Rennie, Regional Director – Europe and Latin America, NCC Education said: “NCC Education is excited about this new venture and are confident that we have selected the right partner to represent NCC Education in Russia. We have been convinced by RSSU’s high quality standards and reputation in Russia and are positive that this first country collaboration will create valuable opportunities for Russian students.”
