Foundation

We have developed two qualifications to specifically enhance levels of English and help students prepare for further study – the English Language Framework and the Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (RQF) previously called International Foundation Year (IFY).

We also offer two Diplomas in Business and Computing at foundation level which will allow progression onto our Higher Level Diplomas and undergraduate degree pathway.

English Language Framework (ELF)

The English Language Framework (ELF) is a course aimed at helping students to improve their language skills.

Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (IFD)

RQF – Level 3

The Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (RQF) (L3IFDHES) formally called the International Foundation Year (IFY) is a one year pre-university qualification with 120 credits, including a significant amount of English language teaching and assessment. The qualification is designed to provide students with an entry route to UK and International university qualifications or for progression onto the NCC Education Level 4 Diplomas in Computing, Business and Business IT.

Level 3 Diploma in Business (L3DB)

The Level 3 Diploma in Business (RQF) (L3DB) is a 60 credit qualification that aims to prepare students for entry onto the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business (RQF) (L4DB) and Level 4 Diploma in Business IT (RQF) (L4DBIT).

Level 3 Diploma in Computing (L3DC)

The Level 3 Diploma in Computing (RQF) (L3DC) is a 60 credit qualification that aims to prepare students for entry onto the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing (RQF) (L4DC) or Level 4 Diploma in Business IT (RQF) (L4DBIT).
