AFTER the huge success of a recent open day education fair, Tanzanian-based centre for excellence, the Institute of Management and Information Technology (IMIT), is reaping the benefits after a significant rise in student and general public enquiries.
The event, which was held at the local British Council office on the 3rd and 4th of June this year, welcomed nearly a hundred participants on both days and more than 60 telephone calls, emails and visitations after the event. Prospective students were keen to learn more about the NCC Education programmes available, how they can enroll and how the programmes would influence their future career.
The centre, which has been an NCC Education Accredited Partner Centre for more than seven years, ran a presentation on both days outlining the NCC Education programmes available and our global presence in terms of graduating students internationally.
“The event was a great opportunity for us to promote our NCC Education programmes. The positive feedback and guest participants’ interest was remarkable,” commented Mr Cyrus Dupetawalla, the CATS Group General Manager and IMIT’s parent company. “It was a huge success and we’ve received numerous telephone calls, emails and visitations after the event from prospective students and the general public at large. Our numbers are growing. Open day education fairs like these are vital in order to target prospective students and showcase who we are and what we can offer. It is always great to hear participants’ thoughts and assist them in any way we can.”
During the two day event, lecturers were on hand to speak to guests and emphasise how the programmes are relevant to students and to Tanzania and its future. NCC Education has developed a thorough progressive curriculum to take students all the way from foundation to master’s level.
Currently students wanting to enrol at IMIT can embark on the NCC Education International Diploma in Computer Studies, International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies, Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management and Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Business IT among other courses.
