Mandarin-Speaking Marketing Co-ordinator – based in Kuala Lumper, China or the UK (Manchester)

We are looking for a marketing co-ordinator to assist with the planning, implementation and on-going support of NCC Education and its study centres.

You will work closely with the Business Development Teams to support the launch of new and revised educational products with the overall objective of increasing the market share of NCC Education products in Asia.

You will work collaboratively with the sales teams, Accredited Partner Centres and University partners to carry out joint marketing and business development activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Work within the marketing team and alongside the product and business development teams to develop marketing plans within allocated budget
  • Translate English marketing materials
  • Manage website and Asian social media platforms to increase digital engagement
  • Assist with corporate events, road shows, fairs/exhibitions/conferences
  • Check and proof read to ensure marketing content is accurate
  • Conduct and present market research in conjunction with regional colleagues to determine market requirements for existing and future products
  • Assist with the proposal of marketing budgets
  • Monitor compliance with brand guidelines to ensure consistency in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimisation for search and user experience across all media channels
  • Oversee management of inventory of physical marketing materials, e.g. banners, posters, brochures, corporate gifts.
  • Oversee standard of artwork and marketing resources for sharing with Accredited Partner Centres

Skills

  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook [essential]
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and videography skills [desirable]

Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills, both face to face and via telephone or other teleconferencing tools [essential]

 

Qualifications

  • Marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification [essential]

 

Experience and Knowledge

 

  • Relevant marketing, brand or product management experience in education [essential]
  • Understanding of print, outdoor, digital, apps and web production processes [essential]
  • Understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts [essential]
  • Ability to do some international travel to support regional marketing/events or to attend exhibitions to promote NCC Education [essential]
